They staff was very good to my mother and I appreciate all they did for her

This facility falls demonstrably short of acceptable care standards, leading me to strongly advise against selection. The provision of care is severely deficient, characterized by pervasive organizational failures and a pronounced lack of systematic consistency in service delivery. We observed a critically low level of staff morale throughout the facility, indicative of a negative and unsupportive work environment. This appears to be exacerbated by poor managerial conduct, as senior administration consistently fails to engage in collegial support or actively assist the floor staff. Furthermore, the physical environment exhibits signs of serious neglect, including widespread mold growth in numerous areas and visible structural deterioration, such as multiple wall perforations. The dietary services are markedly substandard, raising significant concerns regarding nutritional adequacy and resident well-being. While the direct care staff often displays competence and dedication, the senior administrative leadership exhibits a high degree of unprofessionalism and discourtesy. Given the facility’s apparent focus on fiscal priorities over genuine patient welfare, immediate regulatory intervention and a complete administrative restructuring are warranted.

It was like having an experience of being cared for like a loved one, unconditionally best nurses, pt and ot the Dietary was amazing and to all the ones who keep it rolling like a well oiled machine. Activities, housekeeping,laundry,floor cleaner,matinance. You made a scary time for me not so scary with your love and compassion. To all the office workers you make paperwork not so complicated. I wish each and everyone to be beautifully blessed.

My mother is a patient here. The most difficult decision my brother and I had to make was accepting my mother needed more care than we could provide. I have heard and read mixed reviews about this facility in the past. We toured others, and my mother chose here after her temporary rehab stay. I believe sharing details are important when it comes to choosing a loved one’s care. Chillicothe Post Acute has helped my mother smile again! The level of detail, love, and care they provide puts our minds at ease. They take great care of her in ways we did not even consider, in addition to necessary care. I’ve seen the facility bring in a petting zoo, live music, church services, other wonderful activities for all levels of health. My mother has Parkinson’s Disease, so she has major issues with mobility and speech, and they have helped us by helping her. Some examples include getting her dressed for special occasions and transporting her to her granddaughter’s bridal shower in town, and they truly make her feel special. They held a photo shoot and/or glamour shots, where they addressed her up to make her feel special and beautiful. We are allowed to bring our working dog to visit. They help her call me just to speak throughout the day. They ensure she is taken to any events wants or activities she loves and is able to participate in. I can tell that she’s happy there with the staff, where people know her personally and treat her like family. I used to worry so much more about my mother, but I know she’s in good care there. Anytime that she’s had any questions or issues, they are prompt and efficient by immediately calling my brother and me to make sure that we are well informed. I’d like to add that my brother lives in Chillicothe locally, but I live in Washington, D.C. I don’t feel the distance, because Chillicothe Post Acute keeps an open line of communication and recommendations when we have questions or concerns. Thank you to the staff for giving my mother a home, and showing her love, care, and kindness with dignity and respect. We appreciate you.

The therapy department did an amazing job with my wife. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

My stepfather has been there since the end of January and everytime I’m there they always updated me on him and call me right away if something has happened. They truly do care about their patients and their families.

Excellent staff from Curtis and his therapy team, nursing, nursing aids, dietary, activities, all the way to the housekeeping team. Everyone cares and makes sure you have everything you need. I can’t say enough how thankful I am that I chose this facility for my mom’s care.
